1. Data Collection

Minute Muse is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers.

2. Local Storage

This application uses your browser's localStorage to save your preferences locally on your device. This includes:

Your Journal entries.
Your "Zen Mode" preference.
Admin settings (if applicable).

This data never leaves your device. clearing your browser cache will delete this data.

3. Third-Party Services

To function, this application connects to the following third-party services:

Unsplash (Image CDN): Background images are loaded directly from Unsplash's servers ("hotlinked"). This ensures photographers receive credit for views. Consequently, when an image loads, your browser sends a standard HTTP request (including your IP address) to Unsplash. Please refer to Unsplash's Privacy Policy.
GitHub Pages: This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and performance monitoring.

4. Location Data

We do NOT track your GPS location. The "Climate Detection" feature works by checking your browser's Timezone setting (e.g., "Asia/Singapore"). This happens entirely within your browser code.
